Minister
Rev. Pam Douglas-Smith is an ordained Unity minister who has served as minister for Unity of Port Townsend since March 2003. She moved here from Texas with her husband Lane and they say they “must have done something right because they got to go to heaven before they died!” They are blessed to live close to Unity with their two mini-Goldendoodles, Maggie and Molly.
Rev. Pam worked in special education, nursing, rehabilitation and hospital chaplaincy prior to entering the ministry. She has spent a lifetime studying metaphysics and mysticism, especially the Universal Nature of Spirituality, Legends of the Grail, Mystery of the Magdalene, Gnostic Path of the Tarot, Light of the Mystical Cathars, Wisdom of Edgar Cayce and Jungian Spirituality. She has presented at national and international conferences and led spiritual pilgrimages in the US, Italy, France and Great Britain. She is also a published author and is now writing several books.
Rev. Pam is available to do spiritual counseling and custom weddings, celebrations of life, christenings, house blessings and other services by appointment. She also still leads spiritual retreats and pilgrimages.
